About Kate Mabry

Kate Mabry, AIA has been practicing architecture for over fifteen years in Atlanta, Georgia. After earning her architectural degree from Georgia Institute of Technology, Kate began her career in large offices working on commercial projects. Seeking experience among a more intimately scaled team of architects, Kate joined the reputable firm of Summerour & Associates Architects, Inc. in Atlanta. For over five years with them, Kate managed a variety of custom, single-family residential projects.

In 2018, Kate opened MabryArch, LLC and has enjoyed growing her own recognition for thoughtful and sensitive design. Whether a whole-house renovation, a single-room addition, or a new structure built from scratch, her work is not limited to a prescriptive scope or scale.  A member of the American Institute of Architects, Kate holds a license as a Registered Architect in the states of Georgia and Virginia. She welcomes custom residential and small-scale commercial pursuits, locally in Atlanta and elsewhere throughout the US.

Versed in hand-drafting and watercolor rendering, Kate looks for a personal touch in her approach to architectural design. What she enjoys most about her work as a small-business owner and architect is the opportunity for personable interactions and meaningful relationships with her clients and colleagues.

Kate lives in Midtown Atlanta with her husband (also an architect), their three young children and dog. She is an active member of All Saints’ Episcopal Church in Atlanta, a proud parent-volunteer for her children’s schools, and an engaged alumna of Episcopal High School in Alexandria, Virginia and Washington and Lee University.  In addition to traveling, Kate enjoys swimming, bicycling, and snow skiing.
